Won't go into 4th was created by JoHNY

Have done nothing to the gearbox during a rebuild. Gear shift shaft is not loose and goes into 1st, 2nd and 3rd fine. Had all the linkage off and clutch cable off. Not sure what the Hell is going on, any ideas anyone?

Check your shift drum pins and linkage.

If you had removed gear shift lever off the splined shaft for the re-build....

1-2 spline off can make all the difference....
May want to re position the gear shift lever 1-2 shaft splines down (lever down direction) and test....
