550 Clutch Pushrod wont go in was created by twowheeltim
I have searched and been flooded with adjustment procedures and ball bearing info, but I have a different issue.

I pulled out my clutch pushrod to replace the seal. Went to put it back in, and it stops with about 1.5 inches to go. Would prefer not to pull the RH engine/clutch cover to investigate, so asking here first. Has something fallen out of place internally? Have never had this issue with other bikes.
I appreciate the assistance.

Nothing should fall out of place. Try spinning the rod. Make sure the correct end is going in.
