Hi Guys, had a leak from valve adjuster the cover gasket, saw this plug in there, can someone advise what its for please? Is it supposed to be oil tight itself?

A picture, diagram or even part number would be really helpful.

Ok, I think I get it. If you are asking about #21 in the diagram at the link below, the answer is yes, it must be oil-tight.
