kz440 a2 dies when warm won't restart

I backed all the valves out almost a full turn. could def hear them ticking when I was riding. didn't break down on me while I was out, but I specifically let it idle for a few mins then let sit for 10-15. it started the first time, thought all was well, let it idle again for 5 min shut down for 15. then nothing.
a full turn on a valve adjustment is more than enough for expanding metal right?
also, the 11th hour 2-1 alum manifold gets very hot
edit: compression when warm is even on both sides gauge saying somewhere near 120. all gauges read different. I don't think compression is my problem
as soon as the aluminum manifold gets heat soaked from sitting it won't start. plugs are dark black, but for the most part not burning any more oil. bike sat for years I'm guessing
Valve lash is .004 to .007. You are plenty loose. Check your timing. Ditch that 2/1 manifold. Find your self some vm 26/28s.
The manifols gets hot and then heats up the carb.
