85 GPz 750 Cam Covers

I spoke to APE yesterday about covers that go on the reed valves on top of the cam covers. They only make them with fitment for 750's up through 1981. Anyone have a similar alternative solution?

It would be quite easy to make your own out of 1/4" plate.

I have a water jet at work that I used to cut out new plates for mine just the other day, Going to paint them and made some custom decals to put on them that say "GPz 750." I'll take a couple pictures when I get home and ad them on here

I would love to see them Durbin. I don't happen to have or have access to a water jet cutter. But I'd like to see what you come up with.

The Ape Racing fitment guide seems to be lacking. If their block-off plates fit the 81 750 Ltd, then they'll also fit the 82 & 83, as well as the 81-83 650-CSR --- all those models have the same valve cover caps & reed valves. The reed valves are the same on all of the 650s that had them & all of the 750-4 models. I would have thought the caps, and hence the block-off plates, would fit the same, including the ZX750, but maybe they don't. ??? I would compare valve covers photos on eebbaayy.
