I was wondering if the 1979 KZ 1000 shaft drive model gas tank is the same for the Mark II ??
I learned those 79-80 shaft drives were all kinds of different.

Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!

Not the same. Shaft is bigger on everything including the tank.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Yes I see now. I took a set of wheels, and a front end, nice 39mm fork tubes.
Trashed the frame to the curb with all the drive shaft parts and gears.
Here is the frame at the curb. Had a title too. I did not have room for it to take with me.
