Bg engine restore kit?

I work for gm and we use bg products, they make a 3 step kit, 10 MI oil additive flush, fuel treatment and after the oil changed some restore additive. Stuff works really well over cars and trucks, somebody said I may have am issue with the clutch being damaged.... is this so? I'm new to bikes, seem pretty simple so far, but just curious as I have a kit sitting in my garage. 1980 kz1000

The cars you work on do not have wet clutches, but the bike does. Even using motor oil designed for cars can damage the clutch if the oil is not JASO-MA compliant, so I would be very hesitant to dump any other non-motorcycle oriented products into the crankcase. Ed
