Gasket kit will it fit? KZ750 E1 was created by Hemmek
Hello i have a problem, my local dealer is unable to get a gasket kit for my bike.
We think its a catalog error.
But the kit is kinda pricey.

My bike is an kz750e1 from 1980
Its the same gasket kit but from 1984 and upwards (dont remember how far)
And also the same for GPZ750 from same year.

Will it fit ?
What gaskets differ?

Kawasaki kz750 E1 1980
Kawasaki GPZ 900R A1 1984

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationKawasaki doesn't sell gasket kits. You have to piece together all the various gaskets and seals you need by ordering individual parts. This is a pain in the butt but the original Kawasaki gaskets are the best quality available.

Aftermarket gasket kits range from passable to downright criminal in their crappiness. Worst offender is Athena. BEWARE of their gasket kits, doubly so if they contain bright green gaskets. There is some grumbling about how Athena updated their gasket material to dark green and stronger, but I don't trust them. Those monkeys cost me a lot of money and time rebuilding an engine after the base gasket failed and I still don't forgive them

BTW, about 25 or 30 years ago Kawasaki USA did sell gasket kits assembled with aftermarket gaskets, not original Japanese gaskets. I bought one of these kits and quickly returned it to the seller because all the gaskets were brittle and crumbled the second you touched them. Stay clear of these too.
