Can parts of 81 KZ1000J motor be used for 80 KZ1000E shaft?
Head, chain, valves, pistons, cylinders, crank?
I have 81 KZ1000J parts bike.
Can 81 J engine be installed in 80 E frame?

I take it that the 1000E has the early style motor with provision for a kick start whereas the 'J' does not.
There are many similarities but also many differences and most engine parts need some modification to swap,
I would say that for the unskilled mechanic swapping parts is out of the question.
