#3 pipe doesn't get hot when the choke is on. The plug doesn't seem to be firing. When the choke is turned off, the bike idles good, just a little grey smoke from the pipe. Any ideas ?

Sounds like the choke circuit is plugged up on #3. There is a brass tube that goes down into a hole in the float bowl and you need to make sure both passages are open. Also, remove the choke plunger and shoot carb spray into the pickup tube and make sure it comes out the plunger passage.

My 750 twin did the exact same thing, it was the choke circuit, I never until recently separated the two carbs to get to the inner choke, I did and removed and cleaned it, now both get equally hot whilst warming up on choke.
