kick startrt jammed

my kick starter is jammed engine will turn over but very hard to do so whem i pull in clutch in 2 nd gear the back wheel will move strange any sugestipns

no sorry 1977 kz 750 twin i took stator cover ohh thoight starter clutch chain was jammed but it not

the engine will turn over but there is some thing slowing it down and the kick starter wont move unless clutch is pulled in in 2 nd gear the wheel moves

Do you just use the kick start? They were for emergencies. Broken spring?

no i use electric starter but now its like some thing is jammed some where

any sugestions i am very stuck now

Have you tried taking the cover off to have a look?
Do you have a manual?

I would take the side covers off and have a looksie. I had an issue like that on a 650 where it would kick over easily but after a bit of riding it felt like the kickstart was totally jammed when I tried to restart it after a pit stop. Turns out something wasn't right with the way I had put the parts and side covers back on after some maintenance work, something inside was binding, especially moreso when the engine heated up. I couldn't tell you exactly what it was though, as I just kind of disassembled and reassembled and the issue went away.
