1982 Kawasaki Head Gasket/ Top end Rebuild Kit

Hey all,

Im looking for a 1982 KZ250 head gasket, or a place to order a rebuild kit. Have a pretty nasty head gasket and oil leak, and need to rebuild anyways. Does anyone know where I can find a total rebuild kit? The hard part is finding the head gasket, since the other gaskets all swap over from the 200 Model. Ive checked a lot of different websites but to no avail.

The only gasket kits Kawasaki ever sold were an aftermarket item that were pure junk and discontinued about 20+ years ago. Stay clear. Modern gasket kits are very hit or miss, mostly miss. The only way to get the properly trustworthy gaskets and seals for your bike is to purchase OEM Kawasaki parts. You can get them from any dealership parts supply source, including online from places like Partzila. Personally, I've had good luck finding the various OEM part numbers and then searching ebay for a cheap price. IT takes more work to assemble your own "kit", but it's worth the effort if you value oil tightness and your time.
