Can some one please tell me; beside call MAC, is there an place to source exhaust Split Collars for MAC Exhaust ... i have order a new 4 into 1 system of course i have to use the old flanges as spacers, but there is no new split colors in the kit?

Do you have a link to the Mac exhaust? The stock half-moon exhaust collars won't work? Too short, too long, or what?

Are you sure you have a Mac for a KZ550? and not for another make?
On the older Mac exhausts, for KZ550's, from about 15 years ago (and probably on the current ones as well), the pipe already has the collars welded on. That is why you can't remove the Mac flanges. That's also why you have to use the Mac flanges instead of being able to use the factory flanges. Don't over-tighten the Mac flanges, they bow and warp leading to uneven pressure on the seal. Make sure to use new copper crush seals. That way, any uneven pressure from the flange will get taken up by the seal.
The Mac flanges were cheap stamped steel and rather flimsy.
I see the newer Macs may have separate split collars and no flanges.
Here's the welded on collars with Mac flanges as found on the headers for KZ550's:
Here is a Mac with split collars where you supply the flanges:
(This one is not for a Kz550. Honda maybe? Note the header pipes are not square to the motor, but at angles.)
