4into1 exhaust for 1100 LTD

Hey guys, ive been looking for a 4 into 1 exhaust that will fit on my 83 kz1100 LTD. The problem is that the LTD being an orphan model has different footpeg brackets where the muffler bolt on than all the rest. Has anyone put an aftermarket exhaust on thier LTD? Or will the headers line up properly for an exhaust for any other kz1100 and i could make a small bracket to bolt the muffler to the frame somewhere. Thanks in advance guys.

The front part (header and collector) will be the same. In most cases making a new muffler hanger is all that is needed.

The V&H tech dept. told me that the 13009-J was designed to work only on the KZ1000-J, and not on my KZ1100...period. :huh:
The solution for using that pipe on my bike was a short piece of chromed 2 1/8" O.D. exhaust pipe slip-fit on the collector flange, which serves as a spacer to achieve the necessary length. I flattened out the bracket on the megaphone with a large vise, to effectively tilt the megaphone pipe farther away from the passenger foot peg.
This header setup allows use of the center-stand, and to easily change the oil and filter.
