Recommended valve spring compressor?

Can anyone recommend a squeeze action valve spring compressor to work on a 1982 GPZ750? Seems my machine shop wasn't quite as antiseptic as I would have hoped. The buckets seem to encounter grit going in. I want to disassemble the valves and clean it up better. Thanks in advance, Mark

There are all kinds of inexpensive compressor kits on ebay. If you want to go even cheaper just purchase a large C-clamp (about $8 at Harbor Freight) and a chunk of PVC pipe. Cut a little window in the pipe and go to work.

The Lisle Valve keeper remover and installer kit. I learned about this type of spring compressor over the summer and bought the kit immediately. I used it on my KZ400 heads, piece of cake to remove and install. Easy to use, I love it. I've seen videos of them being used on smaller engines and SBC heads.

This is the full kit at around $58:

but you can buy the smaller or larger separately for about $35.
