My Gpz750 has suddenly developed a rattle.
On further investigation i removed the rocker cover to inspect the cam chain and also tested the cam tensioner both of which seem fine. Turning the engine over with a socket i can hear a rattle / tap as soon ad the crankshaft is moved.
I could here the noise from under the carb area.
I removed the starter motor and then found that the starter gear inside the engine has alot of side to side movement. IS THIS FAULTY OR EXPECTED PLEASE.
