I already have a 440 that I have to bore and hone due to a little water intrusion in the #2 cylinder, the ebay ad stated it also had water damage in one cylinder.
Just trying to let people know that their might be some other options for their 400's instead of trying to find a set of good 440 cylinders and pistons and the ring availability for the Honda piston should be no problem to find.
I don't have a wiseco dome to see if it's a hollow dome or solid dome. The hollow dome would give more piston to small end of the rod clearance.
For my project I was looking at the 810cc kit from Japan which would give me 2 extra piston assemblies and a gasket I wouldn't need at a reasonable price compared to the oversize replacement pistons that don't have rings on ebay.
I would rather keep the compression ratio up but if the pistons in the kit only drop them a little it might just be worth it.
