Staking Oil Pump Screws? was created by Madtrout
Does anyone know the correct procedure for staking the oil pump screws on a GPZ750 engine? Specifically where and how hard to punch the head? Would blue Loctite be enough? Thanks, Mark

I use Three Bond Green threadlock on those (green is medium strength and high temp). I also staked them using a pointed punch - strike them near where they were struck previously.
