I have a 2 into 1 system. The headers are in decent enough shape but I'd like to replace the muffler part.

From what I've found out so far "most" slip ons are 2.5" ID and my header is 2.5" OD so I guess thats good. From the header to the footpeg is about 12"'. I'm guessing I want something meant for around the same displacement (750)? I want decent sound but I don't want to be an asshole and rattle my neighbours windows.

What else do I need to know? What brands do you love/hate?

ETA I don't care much about performance, not looking to gain HP or lose weight but I won't tiurn down these if they happen to come with.

Supertrapp mufflers are tunable and excellent quality. Kind of pricey but you may be able to find one for a decent price on ebay.

Thanks for the tip Nessism. After searching around I don't see where Supertrapps are especially pricey compared to all the other major brands and the fact they are tunable makes me wonder why you would buy anything else. I can annoy my neighbours or not depending on my mood.
