looking to rebuild z1 900 head..i know it will probably be expensive but i am lookin.g to buy the correct tools needed to do the job correctly. any suggestions on what valve seat cutters to use, or other tools needed? thanks lou

I used Neeway cutters and they worked nicely. www.cylinderheadsupply.com/neway-valve-seat-cutters.html

You may want to purchase new valves or find someone with a centerless valve grinder to recondition your old valves. Even if you purchase new it may be advised to have the stem faced a smig to offset material removed from the seats.

To go with the cutters you need an arbor and handle to turn the cutter. Technique is critical when turning to make sure you don't put side load on the cutter.

can you tell me what sizes to buy? i have been considering buying the neway cutters but i am not sure which ones to buy. I dont want to buy the whole kit. do you have the part numbers, or cutter numbers to use for a 900 head?
