Google that part number or search the forum using that number ..... its been talked about before ..... many use homemade beer can strips and or just clamps ...... Jay from APE recommended I just push the rings in with pop sickle sticks while carefully lowering the cylinder and it worked great for me on my 650.

I made a couple of wood blocks to hold the cylinder up a few inches and then I pinched in the rings using plastic sticks while rotating the crank and pushing the pistons up into the cylinder from below. It greatly helps to have a helper for the extra hands.

See my $6.00 DIY ring compressor post in the tools section. I've used this same set twice now on both a 900 and 1000. Each time was breeze. Half hour with no help and I was torquing the head nuts.

That looks too ez . I wish I would have seen that before I did my 750. I used clamps and they kept
falling off. Profanity !!! I even madeup a few.

That tool looks nifty. Wonder if they have the appropriate tube holder brackets to work with the 66mm pistons in the 750?

When I put my cylinders back on to my pistons I didn't use anything. My cylinders were tapered on the bottom. I simply set all the pistons to the same height. Set the cylinders on top of them with the help of my brother. Then my brother and I gently wobbled the pistons and the cylinders slipped right on.
Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.
