You can use the pistons ( provided they have 17 mm pin holes ), but you would need to run a spacer plate under the block to make up for the different compression height in the late style pistons.

We do not make an adaptor sprocket that allows you to run the 2 bolt cams with a 15t roller chain style crank, We made them for the 16t crank as some of the funnybike guys used to run stock GPZ cams with their turbos.my bad on the cams,i was thinking about the adaptor to run the head on the older motors.

So I can use the KZ1100 head just have to us cams And pistons for a KZ1000?
78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.

Yes. You need our CCIA cam chain idler installed in the head.

You will also be down about 2 points in compression, because the 1100 head has a larger combustion chamber.

Cool so all I have to do is buy a higher comprssion pistons. Now all I am going to deal with it latter that is when I have more money :pinch: is bump it up a little I am just looking for a little more power when I need it.
They say Speed Kills but I say it is the moron on the cell phone or whatever that dose it:angry:

Does the 1100 crank fit in the kz1000 crankcases???
