Fitting Oil Pressure Switch, KZ1000J3 was created by Vintage3
Hi,
I have a very small oil leak at the base of the oil pressure switch metal fitting that bolts onto the crankcase for the oil pressure switch. I am assuming the gasket is leaking. Gasket O ring part# is 670B2018 18MM O ring. To replace is it just a matter of unbolting the two allan key bolts on the fitting with tank on, lifting the fitting, placing the new o ring in place and bolting it down?

Any insight into this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

That's it exactly Brent. Just awkward to get at. The J3 uses two o rings (side by side)though. A 9mm (# 670B1509)and the 18mm you mentioned

Paul thanks. In the fitment mount are there grooves to accept the o rings? BTW just noticed that I have the second 9mm ring. Ordered some time ago figuring I would need them.
