78 kz650b electric starter won't turn over engine

It seems when the engine is cold and I use the choke the electric starter works fine and starts the engine but when it's warm it barely turns and I have to kick start it.

Even a starter motor needs a little love and tenderness.
There are rebuild kits to buy, but it can be a little bit tricky to get it right.
There for it might be smart to check out your local starter/generator service scene.
They are usually familiar with jap starters.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAssembling it back again and getting the brushes (coal) right require same patience.

If you been tinkering with starters or generators before it's not a big deal, but if it's you first time make sure to have the workshop manual at hand.

Repair kit's are easy to find on Fleebay.
