Cam Chain timing 78 KZ650

I currently do not have access to a manual, and can't find one to purchase. Can anyone upload pictures or tell me how to set the cam chain timing on a 78 KZ650?

The Kawasaki Service Manuals for 1978 KZ650 models are usually available on eBay. HOWEVER - you need to first identify which 1978 KZ650 model you have, or you may buy the wrong manual. In 1978 Kawasaki made the KZ650 - B2, C2, D1, B2A, and D1A. The 2 models ending in "A" have Mikuni VM22 carbs; the other models have Mikuni VM24 carbs.

I highly recommend you find out exactly which model motorcycle you own and also verify the year of the bike since many folks get that mixed up. Once you know what you have you need to buy the Kawasaki Service Manual for that exact model. If you have any difficulty finding one, just ask here and someone will help. Ed
