Hi Jerry,
I doubt that you'd be able to find a stock system that would be in good enough shape to run on your bike. I chose to use a MAC system on my 79. I had to call them because they didn't show the system for the 750 twin in their catalog. I like it and it only took a couple of tries to get the jetting correct.

I was just wondering what other years would fit. I have a few other things first. The carb on the left side needs some work, but I'll put that in the carb topics. kzq, that is a great looking bike. How do those Mac pipes sound? I'm 72 years old, so I don't really want anything too loud. Just a little rumble would be fine.

I ended up with a 2:1 Kerker, mildly rejeted carb's and the stock air cleaner box with a K&N filter ... Then after a summer, a friend of my sons made me an offer on the 79 750 twin and I caved in and sold it. So now I have the two extra set of pipes and a pair of carb's left. Sold off all the other stuff over the last couple years.

I've got a used 2 to 2 set of headers and mufflers that came off my 79 kz750. Not stock and not the prettiest but servicable. PM me if you want pics. It's yours if you just pay the shipping.

I like the sound. It's a low, mellow sound but not real loud. It doesn't have the rice burner howl you hear so much.
