GPZ550 Head Retorque Procedure? was created by SweetGPz
Hi All,
Trying to stop an oil seep on a GPZ550 shown here.

What would be the best procedure for retorquing a cylinder head on a KZ550. Only manual I have is a Clymer, is the torque pattern in the Clymer manual correct??
When retorqing do I loosen all in reverse order and retighten or loosen/torque in correct order? As the bolts are 40 years old and have 38K miles I was thinking of using some ARP torquing lube. Probably ought to do it on a really cold night too...
Just posted some pics of the bike in the gallery.
