KZ750 Spectre **Piston Rings**
15 Jun 2015 12:17
Cannot for the life of me figure out the size of the piston rings I should be using for a KZ750 Spectre 1983
Also on a side note, anyone know what kind of seat this would be?

Thanks for the link, but about a month ago I ordered a set (believe them to be 64mm) and had them on before, then when I tried to put the cylinders on 1/4 sets bent a little re ordered another set (thought it was the same turned out to be 66mm).
I'm hoping the bran new set I have of the 66mm but don't know what is the right specifications.

The stock pistons/rings are 66mm.
When installing new rings you must check the end gap by inserting them into the cylinder as detailed in the Kawasaki service manual (page 171). This will perform the added function of verifying you have the proper rings for your engine.
