Are kawi oil cooler internal and external threads standard metric coarse/fine/superfine ? Got some plumbing to do ...on all 550/750/1100 coolers.

Slightly confused by the NPT Natonal Pipe Thread designation. I know universal oil coolers with an American military spec AN external pipe size OD needs an adaptor, just want to know if the threads are standard metric on the kawi items?

All I know is a standard gauge fits the oil pressure ports on the side and at the oil pressure riser behind the base of the head. If they're not NPT, they're damn close. Because of my fancy starter cover I couldn't fit a standard 1/4"NPT fitting in there. I had to drill and tap for a 1/8" fitting.
