After re assembling clutch wont work I pulled off cover and tried to push on clutch rod it will not move. Cable mech seems to be working fine.I took cover off again mech is working fine.Itried pushing clutch rod with end of hammer will not move at Thanks for help I have fixed this I had adjustment screw on side cover screwed in to far and wasn't getting enough travel.

Not familiar with this particular bike but did you follow a workshop manual when replacing the cable? Is the cable adjusted properly? Is it routed well so as not to be kinked or binding? Did you notice a small ball bearing on the end of the rod when you pulled it apart and,if so,did you replace it? Is the side cover lined up and fitted right?Thats all Ive got, there'll be somebody here with the same model bike thatll give you more detailed advice,Im sure.
I dont think you need worry about not being able to move the push rod by hand, there are a bunch of very heavy springs pushing everything together on the other end!
Good luck with it.
