Trying to source either OEM/NOS/Repro exhaust

I am having a difficult time trying to source a replacement exhaust for my 1978 Kawasaki KZ650 B2. I am wanting to retain the vintage look of my bike as much as possible, so this is why my preference is a stock OEM, NOS or reproduction of that configuration to replace the original exhaust that is starting to rust out, particularly on the bottom side. Any help, guidance, direction or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance.

If the header pipes are in good condition & if the rust isn't too bad, you might be able to salvage the system.
They usually rust at the crossover connector pipe --- some guys have done a repair by using 1" copper pipe & fittings.
If the mufflers are shot, reproduction are available. Below is a photo of Verner-650's bike w/ aftermarket mufflers, but I don't know exactly which ones (probably Emgo dunstall replicas. ???).

HELIX RACING UNIVERSAL MEGAPHONE MUFFLER --- 20" L

HELIX RACING UNIVERSAL DUNSTALL TYPE EXHAUST MUFFLER ---26" L

EMGO UNIVERSAL DUNSTALL STYLE MEGAPHONE MUFFLER
(apparently, nla at jcwhitney. Not sure if JPCycles or anyone has them any more).

Would the stock 4 to 2 sankei system off of a 1980 kz750h work?

Look at the 650 Z mufflers near the bottom of the page in the link. They look very much like stock. Ed

Those would be close. Might not bolt up just right in the back and maybe some brake pedal interference.

I've got the full system in good shape. Have toyed with the idea of selling it..

Is it from a KZ650-B2? I ask because there are some big differences between the exhaust systems on some of the KZ650 models. Ed

Nope, 1980 kz750h ltd. Hence the above questions on if it would fit.
