Hi everyone !
I've got problem with my starter. When engine is cold i can't blast off engine. But if engine catch temperature starter does not slip. I try to grind abotu 0,08 mm from starter clutch gear but it does not work. I think to buy used startet cluch and starter cluch gear but in Poland i cant find this parts to kawasaki kz 1100 or gpz 1100. Do you know any other models that have the same parts as the model kz 1100. In my country there is a lot of kawasaki 750 but i do not know it is will fit. Or maybe you have others ideas ?? Regards Paul
Year 1981, model Z 1100.

What year and model is your bike? Look on eBay for a good use one...... make sure you get the right year and model. I bought a used 1985 Gpz900 starter clutch on eBay for my 1984 Gpz900 and the gears were different. My 84 had a cracked housing so I just used my cleaned up gear with the good 85 eBay housing. This fix required splitting the cases on my Ninja 900.

Looks like that starter clutch was used on many years and models. Happy shopping!
