Head gasket

Can I reuse a head gasket with only 100 miles on it? Had to have a valve stem seal pop off.

You can and I have in a pinch. I used silver spray paint on it in the past. Now there is copper coat. It would be better to use new gaskets but if you have to, tighten it down and re tighten it after a few warm ups. It is already compressed so I'd check it and tighten it more times than usual. :whistle:

I did it too. I used the copper spray head gasket sealer although I don't know if that is mandatory.
