Cylinder block rubber O rings

What, if any, are you builders using for the O-rings under the cylinders?
I'm looking at mine fresh cylinder block... no O-rings at all and I can't remember pulling them off.
The Kaw part # is 92055-054.
Kinda pricey at anywhere from $28 to $40 for a set of 4.
However, there is a place here in Denver that sells the Bruna-N 70s O-rings for about $0.75-$1.00 each, but the max temp rating is under 240F/115C.

If you rebuild the motor and purchase a full gasket set for your KZ1000, then the cylinder o-rings should be included...certainly they were in the sets that I have purchased. :)

I would use Viton. There are a lot of them around. I found the ones for my hydraulic jack on ebay. Viton is way better than butyl rubber.

Agreed....if you need a measurement, I can look at the uninstalled ones I have.
