So have this 85 zn700 ltd and the carbs seem to be leaking, its been sitting since 95 and I just bought it, put a starter clutch in got it running finally and now the carbs seem to be leaking gas. Somewhat steady drip. What should I do...

There are probably a thousand discussion threads about this already. 99% of the time the problem is a failed petcock and failed needle valve or valves. Sometimes the fuel level is also wildly off.
Please use the search box on this site, and please buy a genuine Kawasaki factory service manual.
Rebuilding the petcock is fairly simple. Replacing the needle valves is a bit more involved, especially if the intake boots are old and hard. A good set of JI S screwdrivers, or suitably modified Phillips drivers will save you many headaches and wrecked screws. Although the screws on these old Kawasakis look like Phillips head screws, they are not. Yes, there are several discussions about this, too.
