04 May 2015 10:09
I bought a 82 kawasaki csr 1000 recently and have trouble starting it. After crancking for awhile it will fire up and run and once its warm i can shut it off and fire it up again with no problems. But after letting it sit over night it wont start again. Im really hopi by i can figure this out as i would like to rely on it to get me around any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Like kwaker2000 says,,give it a good service first before panicking . Its a 30+ year old bike,of course its going to cough, wheeze, fart and complain when you wake it up in the mornings. We all do !

How old is the battery? If the battery is not fully charged starting the bike will be a problem; especially when the engine oil is cold. Ed
