What do you think?

Hello guys!
I have a KZ1000R2 with 90 000 kilometers on the odo. I think it´s about 56 000 miles. It burns some oil and i´m thinking about the big job - top end overhaul and a rebore. But what about the crank? Do you think it´s ok or it needs some attention? The bike runs ok but the oil consumption is not ok.
I never have to change oil, just fill it up again. In that way the oil is always fresh.
What do you think?
Sorry about my poor english as i´m from Sweden
Kind regards Peter

Chances are it's the valve guide seals. They get hard and brittle with age. Viton is the only way to go. The crank should be fine but if you're down there, you should check it and have the pins welded. Once done you can go bigger and bigger if you want. Check the tranny too.
