Cylinder 3 down, spitting through intake

So my bike is not running as it should. Cylinder 3 has spark and the carbs have been rebuilt, jetted and synched. The problem is I am running on 3 cylinders and I cannot figure out why. Cylinder 3 spits through the intake constantly at idle and #2 does sometimes as well although #2 is running. When it does not spit through the intake, the bike backfires, so I am pretty sure I am getting fuel. I have pulled the plug and can see spark. Just in case I switched plus with #4 and 4 is still working. This is quite the bummer. It was working before.

So it was timing. I pulled the timing cover on a whim and noticed the dwell for both sides (1,4 and 2,3) was off. Adjusted the timing and boom, flawless operation. This is a weird situation because I had adjusted the timing previously. It is like the everything came undone. So in the future if anyone has a situation like this, check the timing.
