If I were to ride the bike without warming it up the engine it would bog down when I give it gas/thrttle. this would foul and damp the plugs with gas.
I was wondering if I were to use a DYNA COIL 3 OHM if it would fix this morning start up problem and fix the fouling plugs.
thanks

would the plugs foul by me having the fast idle open on full for the first morning start? When the engine reaches a warm temporature with the fast idle on it revs louder and faster thats when I take the fast idle off.

Do you have the old coils? Replace them!
I assume the plugs are getting wet with gas not oil right?
My bike was fouling plugs i put new coils on it helped but did not fix it, i also put new ign module in and cleaned all my connectors still fouling plugs. I checked the volts at the coil and it is still low (10.5) and my only option is to do the wiredgeorge coil power mod.
I would suggest putting a voltmeter on the coil if possible. Put one on the positive(lower) on the coil and the other to the negative at the battery. Turn key on if your volts are more than 1 volt less than your battery there is an issue.
Good luck! Keep us posted

Like I stated in my first post if it still has its factory DFI intact the lever only opens the throttle if its fouling plugs first thing I would do is make sure the return fitting in the bottom of tank is not stuck shut from junk.man-of-war wrote:

I'm thinking on having the injectors Ultea sonic cleaned and installing new 3 ohm dyna coils.
What's the correct fuel pressour for the 83 gpz 1100 ?

WHY NOT ?
Wouldn't a bigger and stronger blue spark burn the fuel more effectively.
would opening the gap on the plugs help burn off a rich condition??
