Installing pistons.
12 Apr 2015 20:49
Ok, bought a block on ebay . wiseco 2795xa pistons and machimned block in 2012.Had a old tech install the block and cylinders. Head fubared so decided to freshing up the engine so took it to a bike shop to have new rings installed. Charged $200 dollars and fubered two sets of rings that I had to buy. Went and bought third set and ring compressers, I fubared the oil rings. I can't get a 57001-532 tool to make it easier, I have tried. Any help would be nice!

They're a pain the A. I use hose clamps and a sleeve made out of beer cans. Prop your pistons on some wood blocks and work on them a little at a time. Lubricate the bores first. My cylinders don't have the bevel so it's even harder to do. Don't be in a hurry.
