92 KZP has pursuit lights on each side of the head
06 Apr 2015 16:33
The bike now has some kind of LED pursuit lights (see attachment) where the 4" lights would go and I'm thinking I may change them out for something that matches the head light.
What are you guys using and were did you buy the lights?

That is definitely a former cop bike (I've seen enough of them). Those black carriers in the rear are where they carry their radar guns....
Their electrics systems and lights were a little different than stock bikes. I think the LED insets on either sides of the headlight are to replace the former emergency lights (?) Not sure if there is a drop-in light to fill that hole.

Until I can get a replacement I may try to run them as driving lights.

I like them the way they are. They remind me of a rotary cannon ( Gatling-type cannon) on an A-10 Thunderbolt II, although admittedly the LED ones are a little smaller.

Ed, there have been times when I wished I had something like that on my bike. Or, maybe it was best I DIDN'T LOL

08 Apr 2015 12:50Did you try just measuring the light diameter and then walking into a auto parts store?Dan KZP wrote: The bike now has some kind of LED pursuit lights (see attachment) where the 4" lights would go and I'm thinking I may change them out for something that matches the head light.

I about to do that now that I finished the signal lights.
I just realized I started this topic in the Engine category.
Can this be moved to electrical?
