1 and 4 not sparking

As the title says, 1 and 4 are not sparking. After reading a lot on this forum and my manual, here's what I've done:
Bike is a 1982 kz550

1. Made sure both coils work by switching them. Still only 2 and 3 fired.
2. Tested both pick ups for ohms. They both read inbetween 400-500 ohms.
3. To test the IC Ignitor I ran a screwdriver over the pickups to force a spark. When I did this the pickup for 2 and 3 sparked, while the pickup for 1 and 4 did not.

So I think my Ignitor is bad, or the ground wire from the ignitor to the coil that fires 1 and 4 is bad.

Does anyone have any suggestions to test this problem further?

Lpoks like the coil is not getting any power, or the leads to the sparkplug are defective. Hope this helps.

Before you go and get a new ignitor which can be expensive If both your coils were tested good seems
you could possibly have a problem with your wiring or spark plugs.Check your primary wiring with a ohm
meter make sure you don't have a open some place. then check your secondary
wires . also check your spark plugs Check your pick up coils.Make sure you
the gap is correct on the p/u coils.also check for a open wire leading
to the p/u coils.Do the easiest and less expensive things first.

Just thought to mention to check your connector to the p/u coils make sure
it didn't come disconnected and that there's no corrosion there. You should
also have a fully charged battery.If you check your manual it explains
how to check your igniter hope this helps
