vin sticker
31 Mar 2015 17:15
I am thinking of powder coat my frame, but I am concerned that the vin sticker wont survive the temps in the oven, does anyone have any idea if I legally have to have the vin sticker on the neck of my 1978 Kz650sr, or is the stamped vin enough?

No you don't the neck is stamped with the VIN. If you like having the VIN sticker you can have one reprinted

I had a custom stainless steel plate made with my vin engraved into it.
The plate is about 1/2" by 2.5"
As long it's the same vin- no one is going to bust your chops.
