Buy a valve shim tool, a "carbtune" to sync the carbs and an inch/pound torque wrench and you will be able to do 99% of all the work needed to keep it on the road.

A lot of good ideas on here like home made spring compressors, sprocket holders, clutch basket holder ..... using sockets to drive home seals and bearings instead of the big dollar ones in the manual.... using clamps and a piece of a pop can for ring compressors etc. I didn't need a piston pin puller tool...... even some ideas on here for that.... maybe a ring grinder tool to gap your rings although I only needed to open one up..... maybe a impact wrench for the clutch basket nut and a maybe a hand impact for those stubern screws. Maybe #2 and #3 JIS bits and screw drivers instead of the standard phillips (shout out for ED) lol ;) ( I like allen heads so 90%+ of mine are that).

Standard tools like carb sync gauge couple of torgue wrenches Inch and one in lbs .... clear tube and fitting or simply a cork for adjusting the float level.....

The special tool section kinda worried me a little too at the start too ..... way to expensive but most you can get around.
