Does that mean they were changed twice? Most shops won't accept customers parts.

I suppose that's what it means... He offered to let me order them from Z1, or he would. I didn't think anything of it. Their age and quality were unknown to him, regardless of their appearance. I also supplied the valves, springs, and keepers, as well as all the shims I have. I prefer this to wondering what parts were sourced and from whom.

They have to stand behind their work, that's why they insist on their own parts. Mark up of course.
