things to avoid with wiring:
unwanted contact with any metal surfaces
Pinched or sharply bent wires
overloaded, corrupted, or burned up wires
spliced wires and/or butt connectors
(butt connectors sometimes have a tendency to come loose)
Best of luck with the wiring harness. Just remember that a bigger wire never hurt but too small of a wire causes a lot of problems. Make sure to put the battery in the correct way the first time or risk cooking everything.
