Z1100 engine mounts
11 Feb 2015 08:52 - 11 Feb 2015 09:00
Hi guys I'm really needing some advice today.
Thought I bought full set of rubber engine mounts but today found out I only have the front ones. The ones pictured apparently they don't make and I can't buy. Does anyone know where or have any for sale?
Or a solution as the old ones where thrown out, any help would be great

What do you mean, you only have the front ones?
It is only the fronts that are rubber mounted.
The rest of the engine mounts on solid metal. The frame and plates.
If you are missing the rubber inserts then these can be replaced with solid aluminium or use some nylon turned to suit with metal sleeve inserts..

That manual wasn't really making any sense to me the other day. Got the engine in today, chuffed to bits it's starting to look like a bike again. Thanks for the reply
