Unless you already have managed to find a Z2 crank, they are difficult to source in North America. :)

THE QUESTION WAS WHY WOULD YOU PUT A Z2 CRANK IN A Z1 AND MY SPECS WAS FOR YOUR BORE NOT A Z2 750 .SHAVING OFF DOES NOT INCREASE STROKE SO IF YOU ARE RUNNING 70 MM PISTONS THAT COMES TO 892.9 CC,S

I had a complete Z2 engine in the 80's. I had to have the sleeves bored out to 70mm. Clupper racing complained about how much metal they had to take out. Still rust stains in the walls from sitting in the weather. My 903's were shot. I din't know at that time the stroke was different, I just weighed them and put in the lighter one.

I don't agree. You are right about one thing, shaving will increase compression, not the stroke. The rest is just semantics.

This isn't the first time for this.
Some people don't argue for a reason, they simply argue.

You have been trying to pick a fight and lost, called me a liar and call it uncovering urban legends and showed yourself. You are a legend in your own mind. Enjoy it. B)

When I worked in the local Kawasaki shop there were 2 yes 2 legit 750 Z-2s in the area I see no reason to use the Z-2 crank unless you were in a racing class that req a smaller displacement.
