1982 KZ1100 cam timing needed.

Hello everyone, I hope that someone here can give me a hand with this. I have a 1982 Kz1100 (Spectre). I do not have a manual and cannot find on online (purchased one on e-bay but guy is screwing me around-says he shipped it but i never got it!) All that i need it the timing references (crank and cams) so i can be sure that the cams are not a tooth off. I was installing a manual cam chain tensioner and dont think it moved but just need to be positive.

If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. I have all my manuals for my z-1's but nothing on this bike. Cam chain is different than early KZ's.

Thanking You in advance, Chuck

Thanks for the link for the service manual. I purchased one on ebay but so far have not recieved it (person said they sent it)!!! What i am hoping for is for someone to just print off that little bit of info out of the manual for me then i can be riding by next weekend. (would be able to work on it all weekend, putting complete bike back together).

Peace, Chuck

I don't know how long you have been waiting for it to show up but it has been more than 2 weeks and the guy is not being helpful you can call eBay, they may sort it out for you.

They will give your money back and if this jerk is lying to you and sends after he gets it from somewhere else, he gets a mark against him and the book is yours. He has to pay the shipping.

Hey Guys, Thanks for all the ebay advise, i really do appreciate it. They are taking care of it but at this point I still do not have the service manual to work with.

I found what i was looking for at mikessuperbikes.com.

Peace Out, Chuck
