Its the black ring disc and the bent rod inside the mission cover i need to know about, i have everything else i know thats broken already purchased but i cant for the life of me find the name of these parts!

The rod is your clutch push rod.

Bummer, hope it didn't take out any leg meat. If ever there was a picture proving why it makes sense to spend $90 on a quality chain, that's it.....suspectcobra wrote: so, my chain broke about a week ago and took part of my engine with it,
BTW, the pic you posted is rotated 90 degrees and had me scratching my head a while. I have ridden a 79 KZ750 B4 for 35 years now and I couldn't figure out what those things were either for a couple of minutes.... but I'm old and senile. :laugh:

Was we thought a really good deal and he did it right ..... ran good, but then the bike was only 650 bucks new back then too.

700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.
